Connect Roo Code to Guard.ch
Let Roo Code open and interact with websites in an isolated cloud browser. Watch live or hand over a running session.
Connect Roo Code
Install the Roo Code extension and set up a model provider. This guide connects it with an app key.
1. Create access
Open the dashboard to create a key and get a ready-to-copy configuration.
Create a key in the dashboard2. Add the connection
In Roo Code's settings, open MCP, turn on Enable MCP Servers and click Edit Global MCP, or Edit Project MCP for .roo/mcp.json. Add this with your app key in place of YOUR_API_KEY; if the file already lists MCP servers, add only the guardch entry.
Roo Code > MCP Servers > Edit Global MCP
Add the entry below. Keep any other servers already in the file.

Need help?
If guardch shows an error, check that YOUR_API_KEY was replaced and type is streamable-http, then restart the server from the list.
Hand over a running session
Choose “Hand off to an agent” in the Guard.ch viewer and paste the prepared prompt into your assistant’s chat. The session ID in that prompt lets the assistant continue in the same browser. Sign your assistant in with the same Guard.ch account.
