Connect n8n to Guard.ch
Let n8n open and interact with websites in an isolated cloud browser. Watch live or hand over a running session.
Connect n8n
Use a workflow with an AI Agent node and a chat model that supports tools, on n8n Cloud or a current self-hosted n8n.
1. Add the connection
Add an MCP Client Tool node to the agent's tools. Paste this URL as the endpoint, choose HTTP Streamable as transport and MCP OAuth2 as authentication, then create a new credential and leave Dynamic Client Registration on.
AI Agent > MCP Client Tool
Copy each value into the matching field.
- MCP server URL
https://api.guard.ch/mcp- Name
guardch- Transport / connection type
- HTTP Streamable
- Authentication
- MCP OAuth2
2. Sign in and allow access
In the credential, click Connect my account. Sign in and allow access on the Guard.ch page that opens.
Create new credential > Use Dynamic Client Registration > Connect my account
3. Try it in a new chat
Open the workflow's chat and send the task below; the agent's log shows the guardch tool calls.
Execute workflow
Open example.com in a Guard.ch browser and tell me what the page says.

Need help?
If Connect my account fails on a self-hosted n8n, check that n8n runs under its public HTTPS address, so the OAuth redirect URL shown in the credential is reachable.
Hand over a running session
Choose “Hand off to an agent” in the Guard.ch viewer and paste the prepared prompt into your assistant’s chat. The session ID in that prompt lets the assistant continue in the same browser. Sign your assistant in with the same Guard.ch account.
