Connect Kiro to Guard.ch
Let Kiro open and interact with websites in an isolated cloud browser. Watch live or hand over a running session.
Connect Kiro
Install Kiro, sign in and turn on MCP support: open Settings, search for MCP and enable it.
1. Add the connection
Run Kiro: Open user MCP config (JSON) from the Command Palette, which opens ~/.kiro/settings/mcp.json, and add this. If it already lists MCP servers, add only the guardch entry.
~/.kiro/settings/mcp.json
Add the entry below. Keep any other servers already in the file.
{ "mcpServers": { "guardch": { "url": "https://api.guard.ch/mcp", "oauthScopes": [ "mcp" ] } } }2. Sign in and allow access
When Kiro connects to guardch, it opens the Guard.ch sign-in page. Sign in and allow access.
3. Try it in a new chat
Check in the MCP servers tab of the Kiro panel that guardch is connected, then send the task below.
MCP Servers
Open example.com in a Guard.ch browser and tell me what the page says.

Need help?
If guardch does not connect, open the Output panel and choose Kiro - MCP Logs to see the error. Also check the JSON syntax.
Hand over a running session
Choose “Hand off to an agent” in the Guard.ch viewer and paste the prepared prompt into your assistant’s chat. The session ID in that prompt lets the assistant continue in the same browser. Sign your assistant in with the same Guard.ch account.
