Connect Goose to Guard.ch
Let Goose open and interact with websites in an isolated cloud browser. Watch live or hand over a running session.
Connect Goose
Install Goose Desktop or the Goose CLI and set up a model provider.
1. Add the connection
Add this to ~/.config/goose/config.yaml; if the file already has an extensions section, add only the guardch entry. Alternatively, run goose configure and choose Add Extension › Remote Extension (Streamable HTTP).
~/.config/goose/config.yaml
Add the entry below. Keep any other servers already in the file.
extensions: guardch: name: guardch type: streamable_http uri: https://api.guard.ch/mcp enabled: true timeout: 3002. Sign in and allow access
The first time Goose starts guardch, it opens the Guard.ch sign-in page. Sign in and allow access.
3. Try it in a new chat
In Goose Desktop, check under Extensions that guardch is turned on; in the terminal, start goose session. Then send the task below.
Extensions
Open example.com in a Guard.ch browser and tell me what the page says.

Need help?
If guardch does not load, check the YAML indentation and that type is streamable_http, then restart Goose. Keep the timeout of 300 seconds so longer browser tasks can finish.
Hand over a running session
Choose “Hand off to an agent” in the Guard.ch viewer and paste the prepared prompt into your assistant’s chat. The session ID in that prompt lets the assistant continue in the same browser. Sign your assistant in with the same Guard.ch account.
